We have lived in this area for most of our lives and have a vast knowledge of the area in regards to culture, agriculture, adventure, history, geography, etc. We get all our supplies from local farmers, fisherman, and other privately licensed individuals. All of our furniture is hand crafted by local artisans.Guest Access:The rent of the house and access to commodities depend on the needs of the guests. The terrace, kitchen and the rest of the areas are common for all of the guests in the house.Interaction with Guests:Lidia, your host and owner of the house, is always available when guests are checking in or out... And at any other time... She can help with anything needed from directions to transportation arrangements and tips about the city and the area... We provide clean towels and we change the sheets as needed.Getting Around:There are classic American cars, buses & taxis, around the house....We can also help you make arrangements if you need taxi to & from the airport or any other city in Cuba!Other Things to Note:Viñales is a town in western Cuba. Its main street is lined with colorful colonial-era wooden houses, including the Municipal Museum, which explores the region’s history. Orchids and palms fill the sprawling Casa de Caridad Botanical Gardens. Viñales serves as a gateway to the Sierra de los Organos mountains and the Viñales Valley. The valley's tall, steep-sided limestone hills, known as mogotes, draw rock climbers.The valley is also one of Cuba’s main tobacco-producing regions, with roads linking a number of working farms. West of town, the Valle de Viñales National Park is home to dozens of bird species, including the Cuban bullfinch. Nearby, Cueva del Indio is a cave with an underground river. Farther afield, the huge Gran Caverna de Santo Tomás cave system attracts spelunkers.
