Awful hotel stay
The exterior of the hotel should have been an indication of the interior which was extremely poor. The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke upon arrival and was informed that smoking was allowed on the second floor. I should of walked out but it was after 8:00and there wasn't another hotel for at least 10 miles. I had a coworker staying at another hotel in La Plata and they offed for me to stay in the second room of their suite. I gathered my belongs and didn't stay second night. The room was clean at least but the pictures on line don't tell the whole story of the actual property. There are full time residents living there based on the plants in the windows. I will never again stay at another Red Carpet Inn and would recommend the same for those who are looking for a place to stay for business or pleasure.

The room was ok ,the beds were tiny ,one of the beds where broken is was almost like a rocking chair.we where woke up to a wake up call @ 12:59 .when the wife went out an asked that there wont be any other calls ,the lady said just stop answering the phone no help there.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was very clean. It had the basics, microwave, refrigerator, television, iron and ironing board. However if some wanted to secure their valuables there was no safe in the room.

The hotel itself was small and smelled like mothballs. When we got to the room it was not cleaned throughly and we had to move to a different room. The bathrooms had mold in them. The beds were very uncomfortable. They don’t wear any masks at all.

Better then expected. Rooms remodeled, new tub, sink and floors. Staff was amazing. I will be using them for my quick little escapes.
