TO MY DEAR FREINDS AT THE ST. EDWARDS LODGE, MAY I SAY I FELT LIKE A ROYAL WOMAN BECAUSE OF THE GRACIOUS, KIND, HELPFUL, HAPPY HELP THAT I ENCUNTED AT THE FRONT DESK, THE ENTRY, AND THE FOOD SERVERS. I HAD TO GET A LYFT- THEY DID IT !!! I LOST MY WALLET - THEY LOOKED FOR IT AND CALLED ME. I NEEDED SOME INFORMATION ABOUT WHERE TO GO - THEY KNEW IT !! IT WAS A 110% PERFECT RETREAT. The setting is lush and beautiful. We loved how serene the location was, while still being in close proximity to everything we wanted to do locally. Our visit to the Seattle area was to spend time with our youngest who lives near Mill Creek. The hotel proved to be the ideal spot. Our room was on the smaller side, but still very comfortable and well-appointed. The bed was super comfortable and the tea kettle with assorted teas was a nice touch. Everything was very clean!

A unique boutique hotel set in a national park, beautifully restored from a former Catholic seminary. The renovation preserves history while creating a calm, elegant space. Only 20 minutes from Seattle, yet it feels like a true escape — quiet, peaceful, and grounding. Clean rooms, comfortable king bed, great shower, good coffee, and convenient parking. The staff is attentive but unobtrusive, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The only small improvement I’d suggest is crisper bedding presentation. Also, keep in mind the kitchen closes after 10 PM (bar for drinks only). Overall, a special place to slow down and reset. I would definitely return.
