Great Location for the price!
Great location! We enjoyed the extra bar sink, in the room. It made it easy for 2 gals to get ready, in the AM. Make sure to take advantage of Happy Hour in the hotel bar. Small cons: You could smell the chlorine from the pool, in the hallway, but not in the room. And they should keep someone closer to the front desk or have a bell.

Would definitely stay here again
My bf and I did a weekend getaway as an early Valentine's gift. We got the top floor with beach view. If trying to decide which room to stay in, I would either recommend the top floor, beach view (like what we got), or the bottom floor beach patio. The patios are huge and literally just up off the sand. But if you are looking more for privacy, then go with the top floor, as the patios extend to the walkway and not separated like the balconies are. Room was clean. Basic hotel room with beds, table, 2 chairs, mini fridge, dresser, ironing board/iron, coffee maker, in room safe, and hair dryer. They do proceed shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and make up remover wipes. The pool and hot tub is open. Because of covid right now, the breakfast is a "grab and go" breakfast. The staff put together paper bags and inside is a bottle of water, yogurt, muffin, and granola bar that you pick up at the lobby and take back to your room. There is a restaurant and bar. The staff are super nice. The food is ehhh. My bf had a Reuben and the flavor was good but they did not toast the bread and the sandwich was barely warm. Like he said, it has potential because the flavor is good. I had the escargot. Not good...lol. it was supposed to be topped with parmesan cheese, and no cheese at all. In each little cup was the snail, a teaspoon of prechopped garlic you get in a jar, and the sauce was supposed to be garlic sherry butter. It was not that...lol. All in all, a great stay and recommend!

We always stay at Park Shore when we go to Traverse City. We love that it’s on the beach and there’s a Restaurant with a bar and a pool and hot tub. We have noticed that it’s starting to get a little run down and could use some updating but we still enjoy staying there.

Request a smoke free floor
The overwhelming smell of chlorine hit me in the face at the lobby entrance. My room was on the 4th floor. I could smell cigarette smoke as soon as I stepped off the elevator. I didn't think smoking was allowed in hotel rooms in Michigan any longer. Thankfully my room didn't have a smell of a previous smoker as it was not a non smoking room.

Overall okay for the price.
Overall this was a decent place. Bed was comfortable, but the sheets were quite scratchy. Room seemed pretty clean, but the tub floor was a little dingy and there was a white stain on the spread that was at the end of the bed, which is a little gross to see.
