Stay was fine. Disappointed after hiking 10 miles we had to hike to the building with our rooms and back to the dining room. Since we were hiking we only carried a credit card for incidentals. Seems desk clerks required ID, which I finally found a copy of my passport on my phone. None of the email communication indicated I would, need an ID. You don't need an ID for gas, groceries or thousands of other stores, so maybe you should rethink this for hikers.

Perfect location, great hotel.
Clean spacious room with outstanding view. Considering the age and location of the property, our room exceeded our expectations. My only complaint was the ice machine was out of order. The resort had just reopened for the season and was well staffed with courteous attentive personnel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Our trip was very nice BUT the service was not the best. Everyone was nice and professional but just not enough people working. To get a beeper for breakfast when there were so many empty tables seems odd. Found out only three people working. Same thing happened at the tap room not enough workers. Check in same experience wait and wait.

Not a happy stay.
I payed for a premium room hoping for a breath taking view and only had a parcel view from my room. Then got up the next morning looking forward to a nice breakfast before checking out the skyline drive and the kitchen and coffee shop was closed so I had to drive all the way down the mountain to get breakfast.

Was there at end of season. Everyone super friendly and helpful. Fun to see random turkey hanging around the lodge. Was very chilly in taproom-everyone was cold especially the staff working. Maybe light up the fireplaces?
