upon arrival we checked in to the front desk with Arlene who was less than friendly, she gave us a room as we went up to the room one of the two elevators did not work. Entering the room looking on the floor the carpet had not been cleaned, called down to the desk they sent up a housekeeping supervisor to check the room, they agreed it was not clean.returned to the front desk to be assigned another room went inspecting it this room also was not clean with urine and hair on the toilet. Again we go to the front desk and this time asked to speak to a manager. The manager refused to come out after waiting over 20 minutes she sent out 4 people from house keeping. I then demanded to see the manager. Another 10 minutes goes by and Cary Amador the manager came out and I asked to be upgraded due to all the difficulty checking in , she refused and when I told her of the dirty rooms she said"what do you want me to do about it". As I reminded her I am the customer, and this is not how you treat one, she said "I can't watch over this whole property" is this not your job? So I urge all potential customers not to stay at this property as they do not care about the cleanliness or the maintaince of this property their are many other properties that would love your business on international drive. My advice don't waste your money staying at the ramada plaza and suites.

Would not stay here again
This was my first and last stay at this hotel. I checked in around 330p and was given room 106. I asked for something on a higher floor but was told that they were sold out; that was a huge mistake on my part as I should have insisted on a different room. Room 106 is located in front of the housekeeping shop and the back sits right next to the jacuzzi. Starting at 7am you could hear the staff talking and making all sorts of noises; they were incredibly loud with no regards to the fact that they were so close to a room. At least it was very cold during my visit so I didn’t had to deal with people in the jacuzzi late at night. Needless to say my curtains had to be closed the whole time otherwise everyone would have a clear view of my room. To top it off we found that the shower had a severe leak. Every time someone showered, the carpet behind that wall would get soaked. You could not walk between that wall and the bed next to it. Based on the how the wall covering was coming off and the carpet getting unglued, this was obviously not a new issue; it was an ongoing problem and has been for a while. I don’t understand how a room with those issues would not be placed out of order; it must have horrible mold issues on the drywall and under the carpet. As I was in town due to a death in my family, I didn’t had the time or energy to be requesting to change rooms or have maintenance working in the room. I did informed them during check out but the front desk could not care less.

My Ramada Experience..Unfinished Review cut off...
I was down in FL with my husband for my sisters wedding and my husband and I decided to spend an extra night just the 2 of us, so we booked this hotel because of the location and price. When we arrived the 2 women at the desk couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. I broke my ankle unfortunately the night before we got to the hotel so we asked for a wheelchair, and the woman told us that someone may be using it but she would check for us. Luckily the wheelchair was free for us to use. We went up to the room and my husband returned the wheelchair in case someone else may have needed it. The next morning we were checking out and my husband went down to the desk to ask to once again use the wheelchair. The woman, Vicki, gave attitude to my husband saying they did not have a wheelchair in the hotel. My husband responded by saying he used one the day before to get me up to the hotel room, with a bit of attitude she went to check and low and behold a wheelchair. My husband thanked her and brought me downstairs. While waiting for my husband to call a cab to get us to the airport, I asked her what her name was. She told me and then asked why I wanted to know. I told her I wrote reviews and I was not pleased by the way she spoke to my husband when he asked for a wheelchair. She promptly got loud with me IN THE LOBBY while another guest was either coming or going and got him involved in the conversation he knew nothing about. I booked through Expedia. When I got there I was told they didn't have my reservation. Since I booked through Expedia it would take 10 minutes to load into there system and to go sit down till they had it. The desk clerk must have left for the night after that because when I went back up the girl didn't know who I was and they still didn't have my reservation. She said it would take 10 minutes to load into the system. Good grief. It shouldn't take over a half hour to check in. We were put on the 9 floor because I had reserved a luxury suite. I was told I had access to the bar on the roof that closes at 12am. The roof bar was closed at 9:30. I was checking in at 9:30 and never had a chance to enjoy what I paid for. We get to our room and it is 81 degrees. We lower the a/c and leave to join out friends ( who also had a horrible experience). When we get back to our room about 11pm it is still 81 degrees so I call the front desk and they say they'll someone up. I wait for a half hour, exhausted and trying to not fall asleep, and no one comes. I call the front desk again and the woman says the mechanic came and knocked. I informed her no one had come to our room. She argues and says " yes, he did" I again informed her no one came and we haven't left the room. She argues again with me as my boyfriend goes to look in the hallway. There's no one there. She hesitates and says she'll call the mechanic ad literally hangs up on me. If I could give the hotel -100 I would. My family and I were coming in on a late flight and we called the hotel early in the morning to notify them that we wouldn’t arrive till around 1am. Well we arrive around 1am to a rude front desk staff. The give us our room (406 in the south tower) so we head outside through this sketchy walk way (very unsafe late at night) and head up to our room. We walk into what was the most disgusting room I have ever been in. First there was stains all over the floor of god who knows what and then we get over to the bed and there is some type of wet body fluid all over the bed. We go back down to the front desk who is now questioning what we saw and it basically talking about our concerns right in front of us in such an inappropriate matter. So after ready more reviews of the same issue I ask if we can then please stay in the north tower because it was more updated. Well then the front desk charges us 40$ for an upgrade. So by 2:30am we finally have a room we go up stairs to another moldy, crusty, outdated room. After only sleeping 4 hours we get up we call Expedia to explain the issues and that we wanted to check into another hotel. Expedia then calls the Ramada who tells them that we just didn’t like the room and wanted to upgrade. Carrie the super nasty manager comes to speak to us and tells us there is no way the room was that dirty and that she will not issue a refund. Well Ramada we will never stay at your disgusting unclean hotel ever again
