Avoid
Check in was initially okay, with quick and speedy service. When entering the room we noticed that it did not match the number of beds that we paid for on hotels.com and went down to reception to inform them of the mistake. They refused to move us into the correct room. Then returning back to the room, we noticed blood on the beds in several areas and on the walls. Rooms smell musty and decor is old. The shower was coated in heavy limescale and mold all round the bathroom. The walls were paperthin with people heard talking all night. Another issue was the room was incredibly hot all night with no way of cooling it down. Overall im not impressed and would never stay here again even if i was paid to do so! Hygiene standards are very very low for this hotel!

Functional - it does the job
The hotel is a townhouse turned into accommodation. I stayed on ground floor and found the room to be functional. If, like me, you’re staying there just for a shower and to sleep after a day of exploring, then the room does the job. The furniture is old, the shower is not great at all, but the room is warm and clean, beds comfortable and staff very friendly. The location is also fantastic! I’d stay there again for the ease of getting around.

Sure to be a Third visit
This is the second time i have stayed at this Hotel it is an ideal base with close proximity to the West End and general tourist landmarks also the city for business overnight stays. Excellent Bus and Tube connections nearby with Euston and St Pancras / Kings Cross mainline rail stations close by too . The staff are all friendly and welcoming with nothing to much trouble
