Hôtel de Neuve Le Marais by Happyculture

Fantastic base in Paris - close to Le Marais shopping, restaurants, attractions and subway station. The room and bed were a decent size for a 5 night stay. Hotel pictures and description are accurate.

Decent hotel but badly in need of an update. Feels very 1990. But that said, the staff is pleasant and helpful, the room comfortable but small (but hey, it's Paris). Location is great!

Area was quiet and a great location. Bathroom had some minor functional issues. Staff was always helpful. Room was smaller that I expected but not really an issue for three nights. Bed was perfect and we slept well. Wifi was fully adequate.

We checked in and less than four hours later we checked out and moved to another hotel. The room was tiny (and we didn't book the lowest level room) and was not clean. After flying overnight from the US we checked in for a three night stay to find a room so small there was barely space for our suitcases. Furniture and decor was old and worn, immediately making us question our hotel choice. After a 3 hour nap we woke to find not one, but TWO, different mite looking insects on the floor and bed. We immediately gathered our belongings, reported the issue to the front desk attendant, and left. We were still charged the full cost of one night stay, which was upsetting but not surprising given the establishment. The neighborhood is great but do yourself a favor and stay far away from this hotel!
