A welcome late mid-week summer break
We had a very welcome and pleasant break at the Horstman. As previously noted by other guests it was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with cleaning items and there is everything you need in the way of cutlery, dishes etc. The unit is well laid out and spacious and has a great washing machine and dryer. As the hotel was quiet, every time we went for a swim we had the delightful pool to ourselves, it's like swimming in a pool in a private garden. The free shuttle bus to the village stops right outside, we used that service a lot, so easy, fast and stress free. Best of all, It's a five minute walk to lovely Lost Lake. In the off season during the week, you check in at another hotel, we only found that out by accident when we phoned the hotel, it wasn't on our confirmation but that might be due to Hotels. com, not the hotel itself. The info is on the hotel website. We go to Whistler every September when it is quieter and we will definitely stay at the Horstman again

Overall stay was good. Property is in a quiet area. The room was clean but the sofa bed is in poor shape. My daughter didn’t bother pulling it out The second night and slept on the couch instead. Had a bad experience checking out. The front desk was closed and we weren’t notified when we checked in. The paperwork we were provided noted that they are open on Sundays in Sept. Had to call them and was out on hold for 20 mins.

overall it was comfortable and clean. However the mattress are horrible not to say the sofa bed. Part of the mattress support had turned bad. Just putting another one on top but not fitted.

Great location for getting to the mountain and Whistler Village. Clean, well maintained condo. It was great to enjoy the hot tub after a day hiking in the mountains. Highly recommend.
