I was quite happy with my stay. The only reason I rated the "Staff and service" as I did is because I had almost no contact with anybody beyond checkin/checkout. The staff who helped me at those times were perfectly polite and professional, however.

Disappointing breakfast, great location
We love this hotel, stay here every time we visit Wellington, the location is prefect for us. Close to TSB arena, water front restaurants, shopping etc. Normally our highlight is the buffet breakfast, however this stay, after three morning of horribly food options on the fourth day we when across the road to cafe, for a far more enjoyable experience. We will stay again, but will not be pre-booking the breakfast unless the get back to higher standards.

Worst hotel in Wellington
One of the worst stay's in a hotel I've ever had. There were kids pounding the floor above our room until 1am in the morning. Also there were people hitting the walls and shaking the room until the same time in the early morning. Additionally, when I tried to address it with the hotel staff, they wouldn't answer the front desk phone, and when we went to the front desk at 12.30am in the morning they were not willing to address the situation. I will never stay at this hotel ever again.
