It is time to down grade Mercure
This Mecure somehow managed to change my views about Mercure hotels. In short, the rooms we stayed in are substandard for Mecure level. Our main issue was the ACs. We booked 2 rooms, and the ACs in both rooms were TROUBLE. In reality, the ACs were blowers, or air mover or anything else, but not a real AC. Under the AC, you can see the water dropping affect on the wooden cabinets. This happened in both rooms on Level 1. After the complain, delay, inspection, etc, they changed our rooms on the second night to new ones with better and efficient ACs. The issue of the ACs was obvious and known the reception team!!! Photos of the ACs, water affect, etc and the rooms number are with me in case of any doubt by Mercure!?

We recommend this hotel. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Efficient and friendly check in and service. Excellent breakfast buffet. Great location— major tourist sites/restaurants/shopping all within close walking distance. We would stay there again.
