The room was very clean and roomy. The no smoking rules were great, much appreciated. Reception not so great. TV on too loud/plexi-glass between attendant and patron. Very hard to hear him and he was impatient with us.

HoJo Leavenworth
The hotel is conveniently located on the main strip of Leavenworth, and within a 10-15min walk to shops, restaurants and attractions. We were originally booked in room 102 and it felt a bit “basement suite-y” - - the room is partially below ground and outside your window is the pool deck. This is one of the rooms they hold for pet-friendly requests, and so we were asked after our first night if we would mind moving to a different king suite to accommodate a pet booking. We were moved up to the 3rd (top) floor and that was much more enjoyable for us. Rooms are clean and moderately kept well; the bathrooms and amenities in the room really need to be updated (old pot brewing coffee maker); and though there are some decent options to pick from, the complimentary breakfast is brown-bag delivered to you (or you can pick it up from the front desk) and has a “camp” feel to it.

Ok
They allowed us to check in early which was great. When we asked for a crib they dropped off a pack n play which we had to put together. They have free parking but don't allow EVs to plug into the outlets in the parking area. Breakfast was delivered in a bag, it was decent except heating up the frozen breakfast sandwich using the napkin they provided wasn't great, a paper towel would have been better.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the toilet in our bathroom didn't flush well and even backed up all over the bathroom floor and unto the carpet a little in the middle of the night. We felt really bad leaving a tub full of wet towels from cleaning it up.

Stay anywhere else in Leavenworth!!
The "king suite" was a mess of mismatched 1980's "decor," mismatched painted "accent walls," and filthy carpets. There were dusty fake flowers everywhere. The shower was a DIY job in the jetted tub. The shower curtain was a joke and each shower resulted in a flood on the bathroom floor. The reception staff was sultry and just barely civil. The breakfast was a breakfast bar and bottle of water. It is located directly on the main arterial in town and there was street and traffic noise all night. This place needed updating three decades ago. No charm, no ambiance. If this one of Howard Johnson's award winning establishments, I'd hate to see their losers.
