Banff Family getaway
Was a great hotel, got a little lost trying to access the laundry using the internal stairs as the lifts were down the other end of the property. But overall great place!

Reception staff were terrible. I've never met 2 guys less excited about their jobs.. Our room was also not what they told us, first telling us we had a balcony, then when we got our room our beautiful Banff outlook was a car park ok ground floor so everyone cold see straight in. Not sure what happened to the promised balcony?? :(

Clean and Convenient
WE stayed for 10 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The pool and Jacuzzi are clean and the temperature is perfect in winter, after a day out in the cold. The hotel is close to everything and the buses to Sunshine Ski Resort and the Hot Springs stops right outside the door. The bus to Canmore stops just down the road. So, it is very easy to get anywhere that you need to go. The front desk staff are friendly and housekeeping do a great job servicing the room daily. The beds are sooooo comfortable and the small fridge and microwave were super handy. The bathrooms are clean and modern and the shower has a nice big soaking showerhead. The only negatives in my stay were that I found the central heating too hot at night and also my sleep was disturbed by the trains blasting their horns in the early hours of the morning. To be fair though, there are only a few trains each night, and this may not be an issue to some people (I live in a remote and very quiet area so night time noise isn't something I'm used to). In all though, I appreciated the convenient location and felt that he hotel was great value for money.

Great place to stay!
We stayed here for two nights and the concierge were very helpful and quite lovely people! The hotel had a nice comfortability and charm to it and the location was perfect, less than 5 min walk to main Banff shops and restaurants. We will definitely go back!

Don't Stay at this Hotel
Not a great stay! To begin, slow check-in - room not ready until 4:00 pm. Room service was tardy with room not being cleaned despite request. Spoke with manager - lamented on problems with staffing in Banff. Unfortunately, not the problem of guests. Finally, the last straw, my wife and I were enjoying a quiet swim in the pool when a dozen 8 to 10 year olds came in as part of a mutual agreement with a day camp. I am a paying guest and should not have to share a pool with non-guests. I would avoid this hotel.
