Very good
Value for money and great neighbourhood
The hotel is in a great area. Walking distance to Gallery Lafayette. Right near a little street that has everything you need, fruit shops, bakeries, clothes, jewellery etc.. It's small and basic but value for money and the position is great. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful.

Good
Reasonable accommodation
Room is smallish but par for Paris, good location, close to Metro, vibrant neighbourhood.

Fair
Decent hotel, horrible reception
Check in staff were horrible besides one guy (he sounded British) but the main reception guy during the day was more concerned about television or himself than his guests. I honestly hated entering and exiting the hotel because of this. Also the wifi was bad.

Very good
Solo Aussie in Paris
Was value for money. Building works started next door early. The lift was great with large suitcase! Room fixtures and fittings were a little tired. Supermarket and metro close, made access easy. Some local sites in walking distance.

Good
In depth but fair assessment
I’m going to start with the good and end with the bad. From the outside the hotel looks very nice and the room are a alright size and were very well cleaned everyday by the cleaners which I was very happy with. The location is what sells this hotel where the basilica is just above on the hill with very nice traditional french restaurants. Small shops and bakery’s on the hill going down into the heart of Paris and a metro station right near by. Bad - most of the receptionists were helpful but a few were constantly grumpy and seemed like they hated any interaction with guests. The bed was two singles pushed up against each other that came away from eachother constantly. The pillows Were rock solid. Toilet seat was not connected to the toilet itself. Worst part was the walls and doors were paper thin. Had a Asian couple next door and I could literally hear everything they did every second I was in my room, it was horrible. Lost loads of sleep because of it. They defiantly need to work on the noise reduction. Overall a nice hotel that didn’t overly ruin my romantic holiday to Paris. Few things definitely need addressing but at the end of the day it’s a fairly cheap hotel for Paris and only 2 star which I definitely say is the fitting star rating for this hotel
