Exceptional 10.0
Excellent hotel, wonderful staff, very clean.
I stayed at the Hilton in Mexico City for one week in August and my stay was wonderful. I travelled to Mexico for work for a few days and extended my stay for fun, and to see the sights. I went to Mexico just after the city/country had lifted travel restrictions due to COVID, and the hotel was very clean and was very careful to practice social distancing so I felt very safe. The checked everyone's temperature upon entering the hotel and had hand sanitizer on hand. As always, the hotel staff was WONDERFUL - always super friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel's restaurants was delicious, I highly recommend El Cardenal for breakfast. The room was impeccably clean and pristine. I asked them not to clean the room while I was there just to limit any chance of exposure to COVID (I don't mind sleeping on the same sheets for a few days and hanging up towels to dry and re-use them) and the hotel was happy to oblige. The Hilton Reforma's beds are sooooooo comfortable! I must admit that it was difficult to get myself out of the bed in the morning because the mattress felt like heaven. The hotel is also perfectly located within walking distance to the Zocalo and the historical center and it's safe to walk around. It's also close to a subway station and it's easy to catch a taxi so getting to other locations around the city is very easy. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I get to visit Mexico City.

The room smell bad, the fact of the protest in front of the hotel made it a horrible time. I know it’s nit the hotel problem but they should work with authority to be nicer to guess people. Having walk blocks and blocks to enter the hotel was not nice at all

From our very first steps in the hotel everything was beyond impressive. Lobby was very grand. Check in was quick even though we had arrived past midnight. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was perfect and such a beautiful view. Great location. Pool was great as was the breakfast buffet.

Very good 8.0
The staff was absolutely stellar! They were super attentive and always greeted us with a smile and asked how our day was. The facilities were pretty good although I do think our room could have been updated a little especially the bathroom (the knobs on the sink + tub were out of whack and some major cracks in the shower tiles). The pool was wonderful as was the gym. And we enjoyed the bar and lounge.
