Super 8 by Wyndham Austin Downtown/Capitol Area

This was a small room and parallel to the main road so it was noisy and you could barely move around the bed. When the chair was pulled out, you couldn't get past unless the other person got up and pushed the chair back under the desk. The air con was noisy as was the refrigerator. Disappointed that there was limited room in the breakfast area as we had to wait until people had finished. This also meant that some of the breakfast offerings were not replenished whilst we were there. However, for proximity to the downtown area if you are walking, it was a very good location.

Good for price and location. They changed rooms for us because heater wasn’t working. But they reacted to the problem promptly.

Absolutely terrible. Latch to lock the door broke. Moved us to new room found hair in “clean “ bed. Lights to walk from 2nd to 1st floor were turned off Which caused my mother to miss a step and fall. After alerting the front desk about the fall he then said “Well what do you want me to do about it?” Never going back.

Clean, nothing fancy. Definitely older, but super close to downtown. Pool was remarkably clean. Bed was comfy. Parking close. Wish I didn't have to wait until 3 for check in.

Decent location to downtown Austin & 6th St. A bit on the fringe but you get what you pay for. Good for short-term stay.
