Last minute booking turned out great.
Booked on the same day as another place fell through... totally glad I did though because the price was comparable to surrounding hotels but this hotel is definitely on the higher end of the quality spectrum. I have stayed in a few of the surrounding hotels and have to say that comparatively, this hotel was on the higher end of the quality . I have stayed in a few of the surrounding hotels and have to say that comparatively, this hotel was on the higher end of the quality spectrum. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean and looked just like the pictures (which is actually surprising nowadays, though it really shouldn’t be) Have booked it in again in December at an even better price so it just keeps winning as far as I’m concerned. Thanks heaps!

Not wheelchair accessible!
I had specifically requested a wheelchair accessible room but did not get one and was told that the room I got was wheelchair accessible because it had a large shower. That does not mean accessible! First of all there was a step into the bathroom which my wheelchair could not negotiate, there was no seat to sit on in the bathroom to get dry after the shower and there were no rails outside the shower - only the towel rail. Luckily I had my crutches with me so I was able to access the bathroom but with great difficulty. I am posting this so that future guests who are in a wheelchair do not stay here as the rooms are not wheelchair accessible. Apart from the above, the hotel was pleasant and the breakfast was good.

Great Hotel, great location
It took us a few goes to find the Hotel - signage a little hidden. The room was lovely - staff were fantastic, they really looked after 2 old ladies. They made sure we knew what trams to catch, stop to get off etc, and how to use the card keys to get back in late at night etc. The only criticism I have is the parking garage. The spaces are too small and there were cars parked there taking up 2 spaces. Perhaps someone should be keeping an eye on that. I worried about my new car getting scratched. Overall great place to stay if you are seeing a show at the Art Centre, Tram right outside the door. Thankfully we did not have to get the car in and out of the park garage.

We chose this hotel for the convenience of walking to the Albert Park racing circuit For Formula One GP. It was excellent and the tram stop on st Kilda road means you only have to wait a few minutes to be transported into the Melbourne cbd.. It is in a business district so quiet during the evenings and not many places to choose from if you want to eat out in evening to walk to. Be prepared to travel on tram to do that. You can get the one on High Street that goes up to Chappel street and there is cafes and pubs and wine bars and restaurants everywhere.:) in Prahan . The Purple cafe is not generally open on Sundays for your breakfast but we had breakfast there during the week and coffees for take out where handy. We found the cafe staff very helpful and meals ok .

Close to trams to city and st kilda
This hotel is out of the city circle but it was reasonably priced, offered a good rate for parking the car and was near a tram stop that was easy access to the city or st kilda. The reception team were very pleasant and provided us a map and off we went exploring. We stayed here 3 days over the weekend and the place was very quiet but we did notice on the Monday it was much busier with traffic and people noise with the surrounding offices being open. The beds were comfy the place clean, the bathroom had the shower in the bath but was ok. We were out most of the time so this didn't matter but there wasn't a lot of places to eat nearby that were open on the weekends for lunch and most cafes on the weekday catered to the office workers and closed at 3pm. We enjoyed catching the tram each day it allowed us to experience and explore a bit more so we enjoyed our stay.
