    Excellent service by hotel staff!
Travelled with family. We stayed in 3 different rooms- all are impeccably clean, quiet and cozy. The hotel staff obliged to our request to arrange rooms that were next to one another- definitely a plus point! The only down part is probably their pillows which are slightly too soft for our liking. The hotel staff provided excellent service, from reception desk to the conceirge. They speak very good English and were kept to date with the latest tourist attractions and information. One of them (think his name is Michael) saved us a long-distance trip which would have turned out disappointing due to maintenance work. We are also all really appreciative of their help with our many luggages. We received a free drink each at the hotel bar which was great after a long day of travel. The hotel is just about 4 minutes walk from Tin Hau MTR station (exit B) but bear in mind that there are no elevators at this station. The airport shuttle bus is strongly recommended as it stops right outside the hotel. Hotel surroundings include a couple of bars, supermarket, convenience stores and Starbucks. It feels really safe even for a lone girl walking in that area at night. The hotel is walking distance to Causeway Bay (10-15 mins). All in all, lovely place that I would strongly recommend.

    Was fooled by the reviews
We booked this hotel based on the Expedia reviews and Expedia labelling this hotel as "VIP". (6 months before our stay) We were excited to see that we were eligible for a free upgrade as we were gold status. (We have been able to use this upgrade in other hotels) Upon calling the hotel, we were told it's due to availability. While we had the hotel on the line, we asked to have another room that our family booked, close to ours for convenience. The girl on the phone didn't even consider and replied in the exact wording as previous "it's due to availability". I was quite surprised of the lack of professionalism in the girl. I can clearly hear her conversing and laughing with colleagues in the background. Too busy to work I suppose. I had no interest to talk to her anymore. As suggested, we called the hotel the week of our booking to inquire about our upgrade and to have 2 rooms close together. To our surprise, none of the 2 requests would be made until check in. It is now our 3rd attempt to inquire about our requests. We were told all the rooms were sold. No upgrades available. Ok... how about placing the two rooms close together. If not, at least the same floor. Well... they gave one room in 11 and the other in 21st floor. We are very disappointed that Expedia would recommend such a terrible hotel.

    Exceptional 10.0
Very nice hotel. Nice location and wonderful staff
It was my first time in Hong Kong, so I went by the Expedia ratings and I was very happy with this hotel. The room had a dramatic view of the harbor (just ask for a good view when you check in) and the room was compact, but actually plenty of room compared to some NYC rooms I've stayed in. The room was very clean and nicely serviced daily. The front desk staff are excellent and happy to help you figure out anything and spoke excellent English. There is live music in the bar nightly, which was nice. The location is really ideal. You can grab a taxi out front or the subway was a half a block away and really so easy to use and navigate. You are three stops from the Central Station which is an easy walk to the Pier to take you to Kowloon for shopping or an outlying island. There are also buses or trolleys a half block away. The concierge staff were so helpful. Kenny in particular stood out. There is a quaint little pizza and pasta bar called Piccolo up the street that is soooo good. I forgot to mention the workout and pool on the top level, with stunning views of Hong Kong and a nicely equipped For the price this hotel was excellent. I'd definitely stay there again.

5 days stay in May 2017 nice hotel in good locatio
We stayed 5 days and we're on a world trip so on route back home to UK. We had a harbour view room which is recommended as why go to HK if you have no view from your room. The bedrooms however are a bit on the small size and do need some updates as they are clearly set up for the business traveler rather than the tourist traveller. The beds were not comfortable and we did have problems sleeping on firm mattresses but this could be resolved by mattress softeners on top. The staff at this hotel are so polite and helpful and this is it's main quality along with an amazing swimming pool on the 31st floor rooftop. The breakfast are very good too and if you book I'd suggest you include breakfast as part of your booking as HK is not really good for European breakfast tastes. We had dinner 1 night in the hotel and this was of a good standard. The hotel offers a airport shuttle pick up so this was used by us and it was very reasonable and easy to avail of. Location is good and close to a metro station but allows you to get away from the crowds too when you return.

    Very good 8.0
We checked in at almost midnight upon arrival due to a weather delay. The staff that checked us in was ho-hum. Keep in mind, I speak fluent Cantonese and English but the guy seems to be put off that I am "bothering" him at almost midnight. As soon as we got to the room, we noticed the shower drain not draining right. It still did the job, but barely hanging on. Then on day two, the toilet clogged too after calling them twice to plunge. Finally they offered to moved me to a second room. It was just a mess trying to packup and move considering I was traveling with a family and it is not a easy switch and go. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The pool was a godsend considering HK can be hot and muggy during the summer. Also a special comment for Pan who works as an attendant for the pool area. An angry guest confronted him when he was simply trying to enforce management policies. The guest was trying to use the lifeguard ring to help her mom swim. The guest was just rude but Pan handled the situation with class and stayed calm the whole time. I hope management sees this and really reward Pan for his effort to defuse the situation. Everyone that we have interacted with at the hotel was super nice and friendly.
