2 story, 2 bedrooms upstairs, with 2 full bathrooms upstairs and 1/2 bath downstairs. Ceramic flor tile throughout first floor and in both restrooms upstairs. Kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and full size refrigerator. 3 smart TVs in the house along with wireless internet. Full size sleeper sofa downstairs. Master has a queen bed while the 2nd room has bunk beds..twin on top and full on bottom. Large covered porch in back yard with ceiling fans, charcoal smoker pit and large picnic table. Fire pit with plenty of seating to enjoy nice cool nights, privacy fence around backyard with view of wooded area.

A small but adequate house
Owner was quite responsive to questions. The property is new and still being "filled out" with the usual supplies that regular VRBO'ers expect, which will happen as more guests stay and leave things (or the owner adds - e.g., bathroom extras for the things that get forgotten). No complaints though. The fireplace was a welcome feature when the weather turned cold. There is a Dollar General 10 minutes away, which was convenient. Total peace and quiet.

Wonderful little house
We absolutely loved our stay. We went for a long weekend visit with our daughter who attends Sam Houston State. It was a short drive into the campus but it was worth it. We were not able to use the fire pit area out back due to rainy weather. We hope to book there again for our next visit and be able to take advantage of the relaxing back yard area next time. We chose a rental over a hotel for comfort,space and the ability to cook. We were able to meal prep some meals for her to put in her mini fridge so she had home cooked meals for at least a few days after we left 😁.

Awesome backyard
It was a nice, clean house that matched the description. The back yard is the star of the show, as we enjoyed the fire pit every night. I had one interaction with the property manager, and my question was answered very promptly. Would have given 5-star but the surrounding houses & neighborhood are a bit rough.

Short but sweet
I have to say that the owner of the property is extremely courteous and conscientious both in terms of the property and customer service. The property was a very nice get away and pretty much everything you would need other than toiletries/ food was provided which i would recommend picking up on your way in. I think I'm looking forward to enjoying the back area the most the next time we stay. We were sad to have to leave early due to not wanting to get caught in the winter freeze this time around. The owner was very understanding about us leaving two days early despite not being to be. All in all my partner and I plan to stay again when we will actually get the chance to enjoy our time there to the fullest.

Perfect home for a week long stay
The home was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room to stretch out. Flat panel t.v.'s in every room. The best part for me was that I did not have to unload my tools every night because San Jacinto Sheriff's Officer lives directly across the street. Be sure to stop for supplies when you are coming thru Huntsville. There are no stores in Waterwood. The owner of the home was always accessible. He anwswered every text within minutes. If I am ever working back in that area again I will definitely stay at this location.
