Just what we needed
This hotel was fabulous from the start reception staff were brilliant, the bar staff were pretty friendly. Our room was just what we needed avter a long day of travelling and sightseeing.

Fabulous hotel - Hard to find
This hotel has given us the best meals we’ve had so far on our extended trip through the UK and Ireland. The seafood chowder was incredible and the other dishes we chose, fantastic. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a nice view over the river. The large en-suite included a bath, separate shower and heated towel rail. Lots of easy parking, beautifully appointed and a great bar. The only issue we had was finding the place. Don’t believe the address Hotels.com gives. You’ll never get there. It’s on Carrigrohane Rd

Cork is amazing!
Enjoyed the beautiful view and great service. Fantastic breakfast and superb cheese board with lovely local selection of cheeses. Very happy with having stayed at the Kingsley!

A truly great stay.
This was a lovely, luxurious hotel. The breakfast was yummy, with lots of options. The bathroom was sumptuous and the room was spacious. Our bed was very comfy and our pillows perfect. It was slightly too far to walk into town (we were on a tight schedule) but that meant it was quiet and peaceful. There is a lovely river walk at the back of the hotel too.

A top hotel
Wonderful hotel with many amenities & great breakfast spread. An unexpected benefit was the outdoor hydro pool which provided an excellent outlook over the river while warming us on chilly mornings. Also a very well-equpped gym. Staff were all most cheerful & knowledgeable. While a little out of central Cork, the bus stop is very close and probably a better way of getting into town than driving and trying to find parking anyway.

Disappointing.
Be very careful with this hotel. We had prepaid our accomodation and after leaving discovered that as well as accepting payment for food and beverages, close to €180, they also put a hold on our cash card for the exact same amount. Left us having our card rejected for accomodation at next stop. Denied it but card company assures us they did. Has cost us extra money and stress. Stayed in Ireland for 30 days, no other hotel has done this to us. Leaving Ireland tomorrow and when we finally get our money back will get a much lower exchange rate. The bar food was overpriced for what it was. Standard fare at inflated prices.

Poor acoustics. Over priced. Good location
Hallway noise. Room doors tend to slam. No balcony. Poor inter room acoustics. Goid location. Rooms are very over priced.

Great place to stay. TM
Hotel is beautiful with rich natural woods, chandelier and large Luger our rooms. The hall had a slight odor but rooms did not. Very accommodating staff and service was impeccable with the exception of one server in the breakfast area. It does not change my overall opinion your hotel but you should be welcoming to travelers not use them as a source of entertainment . She served coffee then returned to speak with other servers then she laughed placed a cowboy hat on her head came to our table briefly then turned, returned to then group with a brief comment they all laughed. She then removed the hat and never replaced as she served others. It made me feel very belittled. I am not sure why the hat was there. If it is kept for the purpose of comic relief when serving travelers from the USA I suggest you find another way to amuse staff. As we are from a state known for the Ky Derby I take pride in our heritage as I am sure you do yours. It may have been all in fun for her but at our expense.
