Breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. Guilherme in the restaurant was a fantastic server/manager. Pool area & views of beach were beautiful. Conveniently attached to a shopping mall and walkable to many sights, restaurants and shops. Check-in was a bit chaotic and they told us they were unaware that cruise ship passengers would be checking out & in on that day - so they wer "not prepared". Rooms on lower floors dfinitely hear the street noise, especially overnight. Also, seemed odd to have a front desk staff member at a tourist hotel that only speaks Portuguese (no English she told us) which meant Google Translate to the rescue to inquire about when our room would be ready, etc.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, as is the rooftop pool. These are the two best parts of the hotel. The customer service was not good and the rooms are not in very good condition. The check in was wildly slow and later than the 3:00 time promised. They have checkout at noon but neglect to tell you that you absolutely cannot use any of the facilities after you check out. We wanted to buy lunch at the pool and wait for our 3:00 uber and they said absolutely not! I have never experienced that before. In short the prior reviews do not really tell whole the story. This is much more like a 3 star hotel with a rather unfriendly and unhelpful staff. As long as you know this and don't really mind, then for sure the location and rooftop pool are wonderful!!

Photos of property were misleading property was much older than photos showed. Expect charges for almost every amenity. For instance water to make your coffee is an additional charge.Low quality bedding linens and towels. Items left in the room from previous customers or guests for example balloons and rose petals. When we told the front desk that the jets in our tub were not working they politely said yes you are correct. When we asked if we could get them looked at they said no, they are just broken. When my wife and I come back we will be looking for an alternative hotel.

Nossa experiência no Parque Balneário Hotel foi simplesmente ótima! O grande destaque com certeza é a localização imbatível, bem no coração do Gonzaga, colado ao shopping e de frente para a praia. A estrutura de lazer na cobertura é fantástica, com uma piscina climatizada e jacuzzi que oferecem uma vista linda do mar. O quarto é muito confortável ,só sentimos falta de uma máquina de café, mas td bem. O café da manhã é espetacular, super farto e com muitas opções frescas. O lobby e as áreas comuns contam com mobiliário de madeira imponente e detalhes decorativos tradicionais, o atendimento da equipe também foi muito cordial. Uma escolha perfeita na cidade, com certeza pretendo voltar!

Quarto já foi melhor. Vaso sanitário com descarga quebrada, água da pia não tinha a função quente (tem o adesivo indicando que tem). Piscina gelada (dizem que é aquecida). Café da manhã com as mesmas opções em todos os dias, sem variedades. Já fui outras vezes no hotel, de longe, essa foi a pior experiência que tivemos.

Todavia, o apartamento poderia estar mais em ordem, com roupas de cama melhores, assim como toalhas de banho.
