Bad bugs!
Unfortunately, despite the hotel guaranteeing late arrival, our rooms were offered to other guests and they gave us different rooms than we had booked. We complained a first time and the response was surprising: according to the attendant there were no such rooms in the hotel that we had reserved. On the second day of stay I complained to another attendant. This, in turn, told me that there was yes the room we booked and moved us to room. We had to change rooms, which caused a lot of inconvenience. But the worst was yet to come. All the rooms we stayed were completely full of bad bugs. We spent 7 days of lodging being attacked by the locals "the bad bugs" that inhabit the hotel beds without ceremony. We were stung all night long every night, we got redness and itching all day. We had to buy poison against insect to apply on the beds. It was sad. When we arrived in our country, we had to put our clothes in bags with insecticides. It was a lot of work. I had read similar reports on the internet, but never found that I would find such a state of degradation in the host country of the IBIS network. Absolutely degrading. We tourists inject trillions of euros into Paris and treat us that way. Very sad. I do not recommend.

Lack os security, our door was completely open
We didn’t have a great experience... we stayed for 5 nights and arrived with a reservation. They gave us a room outside, our door was directly to the pateo were guests could hang around and have meals. Also, the door was not exactly a door, but a window. We had to keep the curtains close everytime or else people could see inside our room. This resulted in a very dark room. 2 days We arrived to our door complety open and lights on, wich is a massive security breach. They couldnt explain why it happened. We payed on arrival and on check out they wanted us to pay an extra 49€. We said no, and showed our reservation email and they let us go. Overall a not so great stay. The only positive point is that the hotel is less than a 1min walk from the subway.

Simple hotel but very good staff
This was a very simple hotel with excellent, service minded staff. We didn't pay much but we didn't get much either. There were problems with our key for the full stay (one week) and it didn't work in the lifts so we had to ask the staff every time we wanted to go to our room. Very busy street below with lots of noice even on the fourth floor. Wifi was free but poor quality and not stable. The cleaners came at very different hours and if we were in the room they did not come back. Not possible to lock the bathroom and the cleaners came in when we were in the room. Understaffed breakfast area. Very small rooms. No kettle or iron in the room.

Exceptional 10.0
Extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating staff. Very well maintained with clean rooms with comfortable bedding, linens and towels. Close, easy access from the Porte de Clignancourt Metro 4 stop. High quality breakfast served from 6a-10a with a nice selection of breads, croissants, meats, cheeses, and cereals. Coffee and juices included. Well priced at €10,50. During our 8 night stay we didn't encounter any issues. However if you are not a smoker I would recommend getting a room that didn't face the courtyard as I did occasionally get whiffs of cigarette smoke and couldn't leave my windows open. Would certainly stay here again.

Do NOT recommened ...
I didn’t like it overall, room was tiny but maybe this is europe style, comparing price it should have more facilities, AC was my bug problem because it was working only on heat and if I need some cold I have to open the windows to get cold from outside (as per the holet, they close the AC cold in winter) but it keep the room so hot, we just need fresh air ... The only advantage is the closeness to a metro station in the beginning of line 4 so we always find place to set
