This was the most unsatisfactory check-in
We checked in late at night, around 1:00 am. We were given a key to a room on the 3rd floor. Upon exiting the elevator, we were greeted by a very unpleasant odor. As we approached our room, we discovered the source of the smell - the corridor was in an unsanitary condition with human waste smeared along the carpet, which was quite shocking. We immediately returned to the reception to report the issue. They informed us that the cleaning staff wouldn't be available until morning, but offered us keys to rooms on the 2nd and 1st floors to choose another room. Upon checking the room on the 2nd floor, we encountered another distressing situation - a person was occupying the restroom, evidently using illicit substances. We then proceeded to the 1st floor, only to find a visit from Don Cucaracha in the room. We returned to the front desk with all the keys, expressing our concerns about the cleanliness and safety of the accommodations. The receptionist seemed to understand our concerns and assured us that we would receive a full refund. Unfortunately, the hotel did not process a refund for that night, and we only received partial compensation through the hotels.com service, not directly from the hotel. This was the most unsatisfactory check-in experience I have ever had.

Very Decent and Perfect Location
Was worried after reading reviews, but the hotel exceeded my expectations. This is not a Ritz Carlton but then again neither was the price. The insides of the rooms seemed newly renovated and had all the basic necessities. The best part about the hotel was the location! Perfectly situated at the cross-section of 4 districts, this is an ideal place to stay for travelers on a budget. The bathrooms were shared but always clean. I would stay here again, and nobody is paying me to write this review :)

Nice place to stay when traveling
It was OK. The lounge is lovely to wait in, till 3 o'clock check in. I was so hoping for a room with refrigerator, good TV and microwave and got it. One time I stayed there with no microwave, suffered because of all the good food you can go out to eat and bring back. It was comfortable, it's not bad for being a small room. If you get a room away from the traffic sounds it's quieter. I don't know if the ones by the street window are with traffic noise. I was near the shaft, with windows and open sky roof. It's quaint, all dark brown wood with shared bath. And all the restrooms and showers are cleaned,immaculately.everydayt. 24 hour desk and the staff isn't always attentive but they are aware of you.

A room with a sink, fridge, microwave, tv. A simple room. Bathroom and shower is shared by all. Great location, and price is good. My favorite place to stay at. There is security guard at night.
