Average hotel
Average hotel, staff were good but the location isn’t good. It’s close to gar de lest ( train station) and there are many homeless and beggars around. Stay elsewhere in Paris.

Ok hotel near main station
We arrived around 10pm and walked from the main station. Glad I was with 3 other people as the area wasn't great. Room and bathroom were clean but small. The shower door only went inwards.

Hotel close to railway stations
The room (that we booked through Expedia) was a little run down with old stained carpet. The cleanliness of the rest of the room was good. Had we known the hotel was being renovated we would have chosen a renovated room even if we had had to pay a little more. As it was we didn't have the choice because the rest of the hotel was booked out.

A nice hotel close to public transportation
Do not book "Classic Room." We booked the classic room under the impression of an image that was modern, renovated and clean. When I checked into the room, the room was literally a classic, old and vintage style room (old furniture, old sheets, old everything). I respect tradition but this was not the picture advertised on the Expedia booking. I went downstairs and showed him the reservation with the picture attached. We had a discussion about the hotel's up keeping of classic rooms for older guests but he had kindly upgraded us to the room that was advertised in the picture. Other than this problem, the renovated rooms are nice! Noise will always be an issue [you can hear people and vehicles outside the window (even closed]). I would recommend this hotel for people looking for a quick stay and are close to the domestic/ international train station or bus stops. Hope this helps!

Right near Gare d'lest
Had a relatively comfortable stay here and it was a really handy to base a stay in Paris. We did have to get used the sounds of the rumbling of the underground trains but i am sure this i common in the city. Didn't use the mini bar fridge as when it was opened it filled the room with a strange fart smell. But not a bad stay.
