I picked this place b/c it was in the Village but off the main strip, hoping it would be quiet from all the drunk partiers. I thought its location was why it was a bit cheaper. Alas, it was full of partying college age kids, some who don’t care about other guests.
Another couple we knew stayed there at the same time were aggressively harassed at 2:30am (loud banging on their doors, people aggressively trying to get into their room, thinking it’s hilarious that they scared the occupants). They thought it was so funny, they decided to repeat it at 7:30am as they went out, truly frightening the female occupant who was alone at the time. When the couple complained to the front desk, they found out that most of the staff are the same age as the jerks and took a very lenient view on disturbances, including the loud blaring music and partying late into the night. Luckily for us, we were spared most of that noise, and we were not harassed.
If you are a young person looking for affordable ok-ish hotel, this place is for you. If you are a middle aged couple looking for a quiet place, I suggest somewhere else. I will not be coming back.
The room itself was comparable to other economical hotels, and was reasonably clean, albeit some dried toothpaste on the bathroom wall and door. The bed was on the firmer side. The pillows were uncomfortable for me - too high to sleep on your back, too flat for side-sleeping. The young woman who checked us in was quite lovely and competent.
