Hyatt New Favorite
We booked through Hotels.com based on price and reviews. Room was excellent, 2 queen beds, plus couch sitting area, desk, desk chair, small kitchenette with refrigerator. All was clean and comfortable. Desk staff handled check in expeditiously and courteously, went out of their way to assist. Covid regs in place, but we were given McMuffin style sandwich, heated, plus pastry and coffee instead of more expansive continental breakfast. I don’t usually leave such detailed reviews but this establishment deserves it. Clearly well managed with excellent quality control. One of my favorites in 50+ years of hotel/motel stays.

Fair value for the money
I'm probably not the typical customer for the brand. I honestly couldn't care less about their breakfast. To me, they are a hotel, first and foremost. Adding breakfast is more of a value-added proposition for those types out there. No disrespect to them but I prefer to have my meals at places where they specialize in them. Of course, if time were a deciding factor, I might choose the Hyatt but room layout and cleanliness are more important to me and this Hyatt really shines there. The staff were quite courteous at check-in and check-out was a breeze (thanks CoViD). There was ample parking and decent dining options within a 3 mile radius. One of the things that I notice about some Hyatt's are their propensity to be located near a major interstate/highway. This is good when traveling as getting to/from it is painless. The fly in the ointment comes from the same in that when one is trying to sleep, the noise can be bothersome for light sleepers and this Hyatt falls into that category. Fortunately, I turned the fan on and that was enough to drown out the traffic noise. One other odd experience was when maintenance knocked on my door between 9-10 a.m. and wanted to see the TV. They didn't enter the room but "saw" it from outside the room and that was enough for them. No explanations they just left. Not sure what the problem was but that's another matter. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if in the area as they hit everything on my list for a hotel.

Very nice and convenient hotel! All staff members were amazing but lady at front desk in the morning that made our coffee was super amazing, cheerful and could tell loved her job! These little things make a big difference and these employees should be praised!

Lots of easy, safe and well lighted parking. Easy check in, clean lobby area and quick elevators. Room was quite clean, spacious and comfortable with a separate sitting area, desk, refrigerator and coffee maker. Grab and Go breakfast was safety conscious with enough variety to satisfy most tastes.

Beyond disappointed!
There couldn’t have been more than 10 to maybe 15 rooms max booked the night we stayed. We were given a handicap room. I booked online, but only request was for king bed. The bed was low to ground and TERRIBLY uncomfortable - not the same type mattress that was in the room I stayed in at this hotel earlier this month. The bathroom sink counter was pretty much nonexistent and was in the same room as toilet/shower. We specifically booked Hyatt Place for the large sofa for some place to hang out and relax away from home. There was no large sofa, just a 3 seater with a small ottoman. There are usually a variety of pillows on the beds at this hotel, but not this room - just 4 crappy pillows to go with the crappy mattress. We have stayed at this particular hotel for at least 10yrs and I have never had an experience like this. Didn’t make it down for breakfast, we rarely do, but there is usually still coffee available in the lobby...but not today. If it’s not acceptable to park in a handicap stall in an empty parking lot because a handicap person might show up and need that stall - why on earth would you place someone in a handicap room if they didn’t specifically ask for it? Especially when you have 140 rooms to choose from? This was our worst stay ever at this particular hotel, beyond disappointed.
