No Breakeast
We were disapointed that Wrens Nest advertizes a breakfeast which is not true. Due to virus I understand, but no adjustment to rate, so when comparing to other motel rates, breakfeast was a decision maker and turned out to be false.

The room was old but clean. The building the room was located in was gross -crickets in the hallways, tattered turf carpeting. It is in the woods so I guess I can forgive the crickets to some extent. There was a window air conditioner in the living room window which didn’t do much for the bedroom so I’m glad it wasn’t that hot when we were there. Not sure what happened to the swimming pool listed in the website. The person at the desk didn’t mention it, there were no signs to it. He also didn’t wear a mask in these COVID times which didn’t make me confident in any other COVID cleaning. The whole place was run down and falling apart.

This inn is run by pathological liars who will tell you a fake price and charge your card for a different one right in front of you. Don't stay here unless you enjoy being swindled out of your own money.

Disappointed
I was very disappointed with this hotel. The rooms smelled damp. There were stains on the carpet and cobwebs in many, many corners of the the room and I mean large ones to boot! One blind on a window was broke so I was unable to raise it. There was a light just outside and above the window that was on all night long and disrupted our sleep.

Great location and great place
Great motel. Own entrance with a nice screened in porch. Nice to have tall ceilings and a small kitchen/living room separate from bedroom.

Photos showed it as quaint and in the woods, which it was. But buildings were very run down and our room was very dirty. Big stains on the carpet, some kind of oil dripping from the ceiling onto the bedside table, hairs in sink and dirt on sink faucets

Tired facility but clean and ok room. Breakfast very minimal and mainly carbs. Staff very pleasant. Did not spend much time here. Just overnight room for duration
