Stayed for 5 nights whilst at a hockey tournament with a bit of sightseeing bolted on. Parking is limited and €24 per day even for guests staying at the hotel. Room was fine but aircon was not that good. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good and overall represented good value at less than £100 per night including breakfast for 2 people

Great place to stay in Potsdam

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Hotel in Potsdam. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel location is perfect; an easy walk from the train station and to the city centre, plus great a great view of the Havel river and surrounding countryside!

Good hotel but poor restaurant

The hotel was really nice and situated in the center of Potzdam. The breakfast was also nice together with the service. But the restaurant for dining in the evening we really can't recommend. The waiter was really, really slow. Did not server bread for us. We had to wait very, very long to order and then to get our drinks. The food took nearly an hour to get and there were only about 4 other couples in the restaurant so it was not in any way buzy. There were plenty of food for the pork dish but for the fish it seems like a very, very small fish. So we paid a lot of money without value and went to the nearby restaurant to get dessert.
