This hotel is in a good location close to Copenhagen central station. It is a little dated but the facilties are very satisfactory.

Poor
This hotel is indicating they are 4 star, when its more of 1.5 star. No baggage assistance upon arrival (Hotel has no ramp or flat entrance or sliding doors). There was a smell and horrific feeling instantly. This hotel is more than likely haunted to put it honestly. I’m asthmatic and when arriving in this hotel my chest instantly was tightening. I didnt waste another second. There was filthy dust everywhere in the room, not to mention blood marks on the walls. My friends and i relocated within 30 minutes of check in as we were revolted. The hotel also has insisted on charging us for the first night even though we didnt use any amenities. Even though we didnt sleep there and had left within 30 minites from check in. Avoid booking this hotel to avoid disappointment. Copenhagen is an amazing city, and staying somewhere like First Kong just does not give the city any justice.

Wonderful hotel. No air conditioner therefore the room was very hot at night. Bath area was too small. My husband is 198 cm and could`nt stand in the shower. A lot of visible gunk around the toilet and in the shower. The room was spacious, nice and clean.

I recommend a street or back alley facing room
Location is top notch, staff is very friendly and helpful. There were some issues with check in and misunderstandings and I got a wrong room. The room I got in the end was a corner room so quite spacious! It faces the atrium which I wouldn’t recommend. There’s no fresh air but there’s mall-music out there from 7 am to 9 pm. It’s just too much. It’s very echoey out there too so very loud when people have sex with open windows. We did have a nice stay though and the beds were really comfy. I opted for an upgrade to a deluxe room with A glass of wine, and a tea and coffee set for all 3 nights. But the coffee, tea and cream weren’t refilled by room service. The bathroom had some cracked tiles and no power outlets, and only one hook for your towel but two sinks. When I arrived there were some live larvae(?!) in the toilet I’ve never seen anywhere before in my life. Staff hadn’t either. I suspect because of Covid and the 90% vacant rooms, the water has become stale over a long time, I just flushed them, no problem. But it did nauseate me for a while, not gonna lie. I would stay again but not with a room facing the atrium.

Excellent location and high comfort level all around. The service was great and the breakfast superb. Only “negative” was that the room/furniture felt quite worn and that the supply of toiletries offered was at a minimum (both based on the fact that it’s rated as a four star hotel). The windows are also not very soundproof so if you’re a light sleeper, noise from the street outside might be disturbing. Would still recommend it to others and book it again myself.

Disappointing stay
I booked in advance to stay at the hotel for the weekend for my boyfriends 30th birthday. We arrived in the room, was small, incredibly dusty, no tea or coffee facilities, no water! The second day we didn't get clean towels or any replacement shampoo, conditioner or shower gel. Breakfast was very limited and didn't offer very much. One morning, wasn't offered a cup of coffee until we had finished our breakfast. Our room was facing the main high street which is opposite a VERY loud and lively nightclub, which meant we were kept up both nights of our stay until early hours of the morning because of the noise. The hotel is very pretty and in a great location but the room wasn't clean and the service wasn't great. Which is a shame considering it was very expensive and was such a special occasion we were celebrating.
