    Declining property.

    I have stayed at this property at least 15 nights over the past two years. It has become less desirable each time. I have no plans to rebook on any subsequent trips to Louisville.

    Do NOT stay here with kids

    This motel was the worst motel I’ve been to. First of all, when we pulled in, there was a drug addict leaning out the back smoking a cigarette, a group of sketchy people in the parking lot, and what appeared to be a working lady. We checked in without any issue, the breakfast space was tiny and likely not as expansive as their bio suggests, though we did not stick around long enough to find out. The pictures on their website are either old or photoshopped, because our rooms had stained carpets, chipped counters, etc. Plus, we questioned the cleanliness of the room because my son found socks under the bed. The whole hotel smelled bad, despite being a “smoke free” facility. After about 45 minutes, we decided to leave. While packing up the car, a woman approached us asking if we got bit by bed bugs and if that’s why we were leaving.

    Spend the little extra and go somewhere else

    Check in was smooth. Don't get the 3rd floor. As soon as you get off the elevator it smells very very bad. Rooms are super small even the double queen bed rooms. Beds feel like you're sleeping on plywood and are horrible. Do not recommend

    Microtel - Forever Unclean!

    We are not picky people, but this hotel was unclean, run down, and smelly. When we entered our room, we were alarmed to find that the room had not been cleaned. We arrived at 6 pm, so there was enough time for them to have it cleaned. There were crumbs in the unmade bed, hair in the sink and shower, wet bath towels, and garbage in the cans. We asked for a new room and they said they would clean it. Now for the disturbing part. The owner's wife was in her pajamas and came to clean the room. She asked us to wait in the hall until she was done, but I wanted to make sure it was cleaned, so we went into the room and watched. She came back with clean towels and new bedding. She threw the clean sheets on the dirty floor and proceeded to strip the bed of the old sheets. I immediately picked up the sheets and held them until she was ready. Overall, she tried her best to fix the problem, but the Owner's of this hotel clearly do not understand how to run a business in America. Please do your self a favor and stay somewhere else!

    Didnt stay

    Checked in.... was in the room for 5 minutes and left. Entire hotel reeked like cigarette smoke despite it being a nonsmoking facility. Was told by front desk to contact hotels.com for a refund. Waited on hold for 2 hours, finally spoke w someone who told me they’d call back to initiate my refund but never did. I never got a refund.
