No AC on the hottest day

The hotel itself, although older, was clean and located in a quiet location. Room was clean and beds comfortable but due to lack of air conditioning, on a record breaking hot day, it was extremely uncomfortable. We had assumed that AC was available at all accommodations; sadly we were wrong. The two fans they gave us did not help and we had to cut our intended stay short. It would have been nice had the hotel let us know that there is no AC so that we could have made other arrangements. If it weren’t for the unbearably hot room I would recommend this hotel. But if sleeping comfortably during the summer nights is important to you, then look for a hotel with AC.

The hotel is in a nice, quiet area of town. The cafe in the lobby is a nice touch and they even serve Starbucks. The property is quite dated and in need of upgrades

There were elk sleeping on the boulevard at night! The property is older but well maintained. The oven is small and didn't fit the cookie sheet we brought but an extra pan was supplied so we could cook our meal.

Good value. We had a kitchenette suite and the third time we’ve stayed at the Lobstick. This will be relevant to few, but unfortunately not especially wheel chair accessible. The main entrance has a ramp for all but the last 12 steps or so. They have a lift but can be difficult to get staff to use because it’s ancient and wrapped up and the staff is commonly busy. So we just struggle getting up the stairs with the chair each time. But once in the lodge room is fine and elevator available.

    Friendly staff.

we had a good stay at the Lobstick, its an economical place to stay if you are in Jasper for some skiing, hotel is older,as are all the hotels in Jasper, but it was clean quiet, comfortable and all the staff were very friendly. parking was a bit tight, there were not enough spaces vs # of people staying at the Hotel, also the pool and restaurant were closed, no fault of the Lobstick though, all COVID related. good place to stay all around.

Overall our stay was great there. Clean, quiet, staff was nice. We had our dinner and breakfast from outside because of the COVID situation restaurant was closed. Pool was closed too. Gym was open, so at least kids were enjoying that.

    Not my first choice

The room was a bit out dated. Beds were just okay. I didn’t like that there was no hair conditioner in the room but most of all it was dirty. There were peanuts and old candies under the bad and around the nightstand that had obviously been there a while which was super gross.

The kitchenette was great in our room and we used it throughout our stay. It is really unfortunate that people did not follow the rules about wearing masks out of their room. It is my belief that people are just not understanding that a mask protects others, not them. It should be reinforced that masks are mandatory at all times in the building
