Needs updating badly
I’m not super picky about my hotels - clean and quiet and friendly is all I ask. While the hotel was quiet and the staff was very kind, this spot needs some real updating. It was looking pretty threadbare and old - and the shower just felt dirty because of discoloration in tiles and the peeling caulk around fixtures, the towels had holes in the them and the pool you couldn’t see the bottom in 3 ft because the water was murky. That being said, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was decent and it was well located. The cost was low and I can see why. Unless you’re on a tight budget, I’d go elsewhere.

Hopefully just an “off” visit
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past & I can honestly say that it was not clean. Our bathroom had dirt and mold around baseboards & door stopper. Lobby rug had lots of ground in dirt. No cups or glasses in the room either. However, I would not write this hotel off. Hopefully it was just a bad time for them. It is convenient to Busch Gardens & lots of nearby restaurant choices. Breakfast is great here & they even had a waffle maker this go round. Staff is very nice & friendly. It was just not clean.

Nice hotel and good location!
My wife and I stayed here in mid-March. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, our room (king suite) and the hotel were clean. There is no coffee maker in the room, but coffee is served in the lobby / breakfast area. The only negative while we were there was the exercise room was closed. Otherwise a nice hotel for a nice price with a very good location.

Won't be returning to this hotel.
We rented the king suite. The room was nice and large. The matresses were too hard. We had 4 very small pillows on the king size bed. The sheets had been melted or something and the front desk woman came and creme them at 11:30 pm stating that they should have never been put on the bed and should have been thrown away. While trying to relax in the tub i noticed that it was not clean. There was mold and mildew around the handicap bars in the shower. Pretty gross.

Perfectly Acceptable
Pretty much exactly what I expected. Room and common areas were mostly clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was slightly below average (not enough options, everything shrink-wrapped). Back stairway was surprisingly gross. Also, some of the door handles open up, not down. We had to get the front desk to come up because we thought someone was still in our room. Bizarre.

The staff were great and very accommodating but we found a bed bug on the pull out cough the next morning where my son slept all night. Manager was polite and issued us a refund but the stress of going home and making sure we properly decontaminated lead to a lot of stress.
