We booked from hotels.com and selected pay on arrival as I couldn’t find my credit card but I got a phone call from a rather rude lady demanding payment before we arrived and asked for my credit card details. I told her I’m sorry I’m in a public space (having lunch in a pub) and don’t feel comfortable in giving my credit card details out in a public space. I was met with a rather rude well can you move to a quiet place to give me your details please. I told her no you can wait till I get in the car which I was told well we need payment before 2pm. To which I called her back once in the car. On arrival we were met with a very lovely lady and it was soon clear who the dude lady was. She was an older lady with no uniform on so guessing she was the manager so while checking in a guest came down asking for more toilet paper and she was told that woulda charge of $2 which I thought was crazy. The only thing this hotel has going for it is it’s local and I’d never stay here again, the room was nothing special a little dated. Old lady behind the counter get a personality, learn some people and if you hate your job retire.

The lounge in my was stained and smelt so it wasnt able to be sat on. The wifi didnt work at all and this was very disappointing as i was on a work trip so was doing lots of online reports and meetings. I then had to use my hotspot which put added expense to the trip

Property is just walking distance to everything you would need like beach shops restaurants and the Main Street Cavill avenue. However the property needs a makeover with bathroom and kitchen were rusty and old. The front door deadlock was broken so we got locked out one time and has to ask security to open for us!
