Very good
Pros: - Very good service. Staff was always nice and helpful. - Room and public areas were very clean all the time. Room was made up perfectly every morning, all the amenities were refilled. - Breakfast was rich and the food was excellent. - Hotel has a nice bar/restaurant that offers a great menu for lunch/dinner/drinks and a very friendly bartender. - Great location. Right across from a big shopping mall and a train station and just a few minutes walk from the old town's square. Cons: - The rooms floorboards were a bit squeaky and at night we could hear the guests in the room above us pacing. - Whenever a tram passes next to the hotel our room would shake a little. It did not bother us too much at night though, maybe they stop at a certain hour. - Sofa bed was too small for an adult and uncomfortable. - WiFi was slow inside the room.

Exceptional
Great value near Old Town.
This hotel is old. No doubt about it. That being said, it was charming, comfortable, clean, and in a great location for walking. The road construction makes it less ideal for cars/cabs but that is negligible. Two of us stayed in the 3 bed room. The beds were small but comfortable, the room had AC, the shower was nice and everything was clean. My favorite activity in the hotel was grabbing a beer for 9 lei (~$2 USD) and drinking in the room while relaxing after long days of walking. The bar tender was awesome. Super helpful and friendly. Older gentleman with ponytail. You know who you are. The breakfast was quite extensive with a good selection of breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and more. The location is fantastic. Across from a very large mall for modern shopping and a 5 minute walk from the NE entrance to Old Town. Would absolutely stay again.

Old word charm, modern conveniences/great location
We were not expecting such a great hotel!!! Please know that it is old - from 1884 I believe - and has such charm. So, if you like classic things - including furniture and decorations, then you will love this place! Our room was very big - we had three people in it - with a couch and table as well as the beds. The bathroom was modern and spacious. The shower was a little small, but not a problem at all. The location is perfect - less than 10 minutes to the old center of town (which is where you definitely want to go). And, there is a tram stop right outside. Breakfast is very nice - not what we in the US are used to (things seemed more like lunch items - salads, etc.) - but wonderful nonetheless. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Good
Overall view Krakow and Europejski
We went on family trip . Krakow is a beautiful city. But definitely not disabled friendly. Having a mobility scooter I think I was the only one in Krakow. All the buildings were old and had steps access. Which made it very difficult. The Europejski was the same with 4 and 4 step entrances there was a entrance into a yard with 2 largewood doors that was liked so we had to go to the hotel every time to ask for it opening. They gave us a code but it never worked.. After you got through this gate you then had to go down a yard and to get into the hotel car park and back entrance was a sliding iron big gate again you needed hotel staff to let you in. Very annoying. Was made to feel somewhat of a nuance. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The hotel itself was lovely. The 2 ladys behind reception were quite abrupt the the men and all the other staff were lovely.

Exceptional
My 2-day stay at Hotel Europejski was wonderful. I stayed in Room 216; the room was very spacious with two beds and a sitting area with a couch and two big comfortable living room-style chairs. The outside garden area was lovely; many tables and chairs surrounded by flowers where you could enjoy breakfast or drinks in the evening. The breakfast was plentiful ( and included) and the bar remained open until about midnight. The main square was about a 5-minute walk away and I found out when I was leaving that the main bus station was about a 10-minute walk, which I walked to (with my luggage) to take a bus to another city. At that time I also found out that there is a modern mall across the street. The location was perfect, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there the next time I visit Krakow.
