Wonderful retreat
We arrived after a long international flight and it was a wonderful place to stay with very helpful staff. The room was beautiful and was just as I had imagined it from the photos.

Very Good8.0
Good however with challenges
Wonderfully decorated. Bathroom not separated from bedroom except with a curtain/drape. Stairs no elevator. Rooms slightly challenging to find. Staff very helpful.

Old building, comfortable space, good location
This is an old building, but with surprisingly spacious rooms, not at all common in central London. The bed was a large twin, piled high in soft mattress toppers and decent pillows. Bathroom was large and spacious with clawfoot tub. Only problem I had was that the shower was a handheld option, but there was no shower curtain to keep the water in the tub. Floors creak, but it's a 300 year old building, so that's bound to happen. There are renovations and updates going on, but they don't disturb guests. Each room is named after a famous London person and you leave your key at the desk when you go out and ask for your person when you get back. It has satellite TV, but 80-90% of the channels are Arabic language. Had great wifi. It's an easy block from Farringdon metro station.
