Due to COVID, we were re-directed to the Courtyard By Marriot facility within the same property. No free breakfast was available. But the room was nice and bed was very comfortable.

It was a little upsetting to know that there was no free breakfast even though that is what I paid for since I paid for the hotel room in February prior to the pandemic. Then when I get to the hotel they charged me for the whole stay again even though I already paid through hotels.com and then a lot of my funds for the trip were tied up until after I checked out. The hotel room was a handicap room so there was a lot of room in there but I would have liked a room with a bigger bathroom counter.

Room was great just a little confusing on where to park and that they had consolidated to a different hotel than the one I reserved. Check in was a breeze and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Sad Marriott Property
Didn’t get to stay at Fairfield Inn. Contacted by email the day I was arriving and informed that this location was closed and a new reservation was waiting for me at Courtyard by Marriott across the parking lot. Planned hotel stay was supposed to Have breakfast included according to advertising, yet NONE made available and no adjustment to room rate given. Additionally, swimming pool had a large amount of dead baby FROGS floating throughout the pool. This issue was reported to the Front Desk clerk ... was told later frogs were removed yet no indication the pool was sanitized. On another note the entire pool area was filled With residue from palm trees like NO sweeping or maintenance had occurred. Pool access was not initially available and had to be unlocked then multiple exits were unavailable for EXIT ... they were all LOCKED. Again no apologies nor room rate adjustment. Very Disappointed

Roni made our check in very unpleasant. She was rude and unprofessional, they switched our hotel to the courtyard (which she said was an “upgrade”) NO breakfast due to covid, had to pay $17 parking with no security on property AND to say the least rooms were not clean and ALL due to limit housekeeping. The amenities were close except the pool which was being remodeled yet it was still open (and very dirty). I stay on property 3 to 4 times a year and after this experience will NOT be coming back.

Spacious room, got a free upgrade from a room with 1 bed to a room with 1 king bed and a set of bunk beds (we didn’t need the bunk beds but it added lots of extra space); parking costs extra which is strange for a hotel
