Amazing!
We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino. From the gorgeous room and bathroom to the shared sea-view balcony, our 3-night stay felt like we were at a friend's home. The staff are phenomenal and helpful in every manner. A wonderful experience, and we will be going back!

Villa Gelsomino and the staff were great. If you’re driving the road is a bit narrow for the last bit, but then again that’s Italy. The staff was great and location up the hill from the train station was excellent. The town had a lot of places to explore and the walk to Portofino was a great one. It will take you about 45 minutes by train to get to Cinque Terre but that may be a good thing as the towns were pretty full and it wasn’t yet peak season. We would recommend this location with no reservations.

Beautiful, romantic stay
We loved our stay at Villa Gelsomino! The property was absolutely gorgeous from the floor tiles to the ceilings. The location was very convenient and a quick walk to the city center. Views were breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to have fresh, made to order food versus the typical breakfast buffet at most other hotels. All staff members were so nice and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommend!

The villa is beautiful. The noise is terrible. Trains passed all nigth long. Airconditioning was off because it was October, despite it was more than 25 degrees outside and like 28 in the room. Unbearable.

This is a beautiful small hotel, in a classic italian house that has been preserved at every detail. It has a wonderful view and also a beautiful garden. The best breakfast!!! The room we stayed was big and had a big and renovated bathroom. Conveniently located, close to train station, Portofino and only a few train stops to Cinque Terre. The BEST: the service and attention, Barbara & Georgia really made us feel welcomed and helped us with everything we asked and needed. Hope we can comeback soon!

Beautiful property and rooms. Breakfast was wonderful and staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is in a central location but it’s a steep walk up a lot of stairs to get from the street up to the property. There is a train station at the bottom of the hill. You take your life in your hands if you want to drive the narrow little streets. Taxis can take you anywhere but it’s 40 euros to get into Portofino. Overall, this place was wonderful and we would definitely stay again.
