All of the staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. Our room was upgraded, when we arrived even though we were a day late arriving. If you’re wondering what hotel to stay at in St Louis, this is the one. We travel a lot and it’s rare to have this level of customer service anywhere in the world.

8/10 Very good

We loved our stay at the Royal Sonesta. We booked it based mostly on the pool, which was amazing. We were mildly disappointed in our room, mostly because the bathroom was very small (smaller than most average hotel rooms) but overall it was very clean and well kept. Our only other note was that it would have been nice if the pool stayed open a little later in the evenings—8pm seemed on the early side.

Great trip, but was assigned a room on the 3rd floor, right above the roof to the lobby. When I asked for a higher floor, I was told the room was pre-assigned b/c I used a third party to book. Room was nice, but older. Very clean though
