Very good hotel in a fascinating part of Paris
We wanted a hotel in the Marais, a lively part of Paris we've stayed in before. Like other hotels in Paris, and in this area particularly, there isn't much available space. So the rooms here are very very small. Luggage, in our case, had to be stored under the bed, and the only furniture beside the comfortable bed was one small chair and a stool. The bathroom could not accommodate a bathtub (I believe others in the hotel can), but the shower worked well and everything -- room and bathroom -- was kept very clean by the hotel staff. Huge towels and sheets are changed every day, and bathrobes and slippers are provided. There is a working TV on one wall, and free wi-fi which works. And our room was quiet, even though the Rue des Archives is a busy one. We appreciated that. This seems to us to be a 2-star structure with 5-star amenities and service.. The service is truly exceptional. There is somebody on call 24 hours a day, always friendly, helpful, and attentive, ready with suggestions about restaurants, and to make reservations if needed. We felt very well taken care of, and though one does have to be proficient in space-management to stay here, we would gladly come again.

Perfect in every way!
This hotel is located in the middle of an amazing neighborhood filled with great food, great shopping, bustling Parisians and so much more. The location is just the cherry on top. I was blown away at the professionalism every day! And the petit déjeuner au lit was so awesome! I felt like I was staying in a castle. Even the maids had the fanciest little maids uniforms. There is no check in desk....you walk into a dimly lit YUMMIEST SMELLING room ever! (I bought two of their candles they were so good) and a man will greet you. someone will whisk away your luggage and you may order a drink and lounge in the beauty of this old Parisian home converted to hotel. The rooms are sound proof. If I didn't see people coming and going in the lobby I would have though we were the only guest. The rooms are STUNNING and the decorator knocked it out of the park on this one. They are small but that is very Euro...so get over it. On the weekends Paris likes to party and you may hear some noise outside. On Friday night I slept with ear plugs but the rest of the sleeps were perfect.

A one of a kind hotel
Located very central in Marais; the district to stay in when in Paris. This hotel is the first place I have stayed that truly deserves the badge "home away from home". Upon arrival, our bags were taken straight to our room while we were served a complimentary glass of good champagne. Upon departure, the same bags was loaded in the taxi and the staff waived farewell as we left. The staff at this hotel is unique. Always present, but only if you need them. Discrete if needed. Makes you feel they truly wish to help you and make your stay in Paris the best ever. The breakfast is one of a kind, with very high quality products in diary and bread. Plus your eggs served the way you like it, with a creative touch. The room is stylish and elegant, with very comfortable beds and a bath room filled with high quality products.

Hotel and location were amazing. We felt that rooms we're extremely quiet as we could never hear anyone in nearby rooms even though we would hear them come in. Few other things to note are: Bed was comfortable and shower head was very powerful and pleasure to use. I liked that you had to other the coffee (complementary) from the front desk instead of making it in the room. It would come within minutes on the silver tray and tastes better than any in-room hotel coffee machine I tried. Room we stayed in 2a small but this is typical for Europe. I wouldn't say it was unusually small. Overall, would definitely go back and would look forward to it.

Fantastic Location in the Marais
Exceptional small boutique hotel, recently renovated, with beautiful architectural details. We had a suite on the 5th floor, so the room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The Clarins bath products were lovely. The manager was very helpful, providing a map along with points of interest and suggests for dining. You can easily walk anywhere in the Marais, including the Picasso Museum, the Place des Vosges, artisanal shops, etc., as well as sites along the Seine, such as the Louvre, if you are up for a longer walk. The breakfast was very nice, as well (although not included in the room price). I would highly recommend this hotel.
