I didn't like the small size of the room and it had no window or patio area. It was like the interior cabin of a cruise ship. Had to have lights on all day Very handy to everything tho. I wouldn't stay there again as they have no rooms with fresh air only air con.

I actually really like the property. It's lovely inside, the rooftop bar is wonderful, furnishings are lovely and location is great. Little things let it down. We went to the rooftop at 3 when we arrived for drink/snack & to enjoy the view. All the tables along the front of the deck facing the view had reserve signs on the them and were being held for people coming between 5:30 and 6pm. I had to push to get the opportunity to sit on those tables which is ridiculous given they weren't being used from up to 3 hours. We booked the rooms quite some time back and requested high rooms and no one took any attention to those notes and requests. If you don't intend to fulfil them then just email back especially if ample notice was provided. When we went to collect our bags from storage as we were leaving to catch a flight - the guy just stood there holding the door and didn't offer to help even though we had to shuffle all the bags around to get to ours. The single beds had blankets that were too short instead of proper doona's so you had 1/3 bed with just two sheets which was just a strange bed setup. Everytime you asked an obvious question, the staff acted like it was so difficult to answer like "where is the closest laundromat". It's all the small things that let this place down because its actually a really beautiful place however, it doesn't have some of the facilities of others in the area and so it needs to make up for it with the service and the attention to details.

The roof top restaurant has a problem. Made a reservation and after we got there told us COULD NOT eat off the menu until 6:00 pm The menu clearly stated 5:00 pm The ladies at the check in desk were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The gentlemen not so. One a bit upset that as a women I was paying bill. None of the men smiled.
