Good location for visiting Norwich
Stayed here for 2 nights and found it really convenient for visiting Norwich. It is an easy 10 minutes walk from the centre. We were in room19 which was a bit on the small side but very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. A number of the rooms are located up some narrow stairs and there’s no lift so if you aren’t so good on stairs I would suggest you ask for a room on the ground floor. Breakfast was in a nice conservatory dining room which looks out on to the garden. The cooked breakfast offering had plenty of choice but it would have been nice to have had more pastries available. On our first morning there were only 2 croissants out. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we were visiting Norwich.

Had stayed at this hotel before but only for one night. This time my stay was longer and although the hotel itself keeps well and most of the guests are not noisy at all, I was a bit surprised at the lack of fresh towels and clean sheets on a daily basis. Thought this was a given since there was no information such as 'please leave towels you want replacement for on the floor' or 'please place this sign on top of your bed if you want new sheets'. There was no sign to place anywhere and by day 3 I had to enquire in the front desk if they could change my sheets. The weird part was that instead of getting an answer, I was actually asked how long I was staying so the male attendant said they usually do that half way my stay. Never heard anything like that before. The same person took one of my 'having dinner in the room' calls and one time he was not very patient and said that he had a party of 9 and he was all alone and he didn't have time to answer my questions. Later on he apologized about it but I though that was completely out of line. One other time, I might have come back too soon and my room wasn't done which was the same day I was supposed to get new sheets, so had to asked the same male person and he made a call and asked for my room to be done. Over 1 hour waiting in the lobby, had to approached him again about the status of my room and he said it was ready. I couldn't understand why he didn't let me know instead of making me wait even longer. Left me wondering...

A Happy Return Visit.
I made a return trip to this lovely hotel after a previous pleasant stay, as I was able to redeem a free night, as well as "earning" towards a future reward. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from Norwich town centre and has ample parking in it's grounds. It is an impressive building of "period charm" and the decor and furnishing, although clean and cheerful is in keeping with this style. Breakfast is available in one's booking options and, indeed, I found this to be very substantial, with the food and drink to be of excellent standard. There were also evening meals available, though I opted to eat out. I have only one small criticism on my second visit and that was soon resolved by an excellent staff member on reception. My room (number 9) was located directly above the kitchen and, unfortunately, I found it far too warm for my personal taste, due to the heat rising. However, once this was spoken about, the matter was rectified within half an hour. I was moved to a cooler room in the annexe part of the building, which was much more to my personal taste and comfort. Apart from this small glitch, I was, once again, delighted with my stay.

Great hotel close to Norwich Centre
Hotel and room very clean. I chose this hotel as there was free parking and it was walking distance to Norwich Theatre Royal. The rate didn't include breakfast and we didn't eat there so cannot comment on the food. I didn't use the wifi either, although it was included. Everything was fine and I would stay again due to the free parking, cleanliness and comfort of the room. However there are 2 small complaints - The shower was not particularly powerful and was not enjoyable to use (although the bathroom did have a bath which made a nice change), also the only water available to use in the kettle was out of the bathroom tap which made the tea really scummy. So if they provided bottled water or filtered water that would be perfect.

Rocky start, redeemed by fantatstic service
Customer service Was fantastic. Emily and Jo completely changed my stay from awful to absolutely fabulous! When I fist checked in I was put in an awful room in a White House rather then the main house, the smell of damp and the condition of the room was terrible, I tried to stick it out but couldnt, after two hours I called reception and asked to be moved Emily At reception didn't hesitate once and moved me to a delightful attick room. Jo gave me a complementary drink from the bar to apolagise for the inconvenience. When I first checked in I thought I will NEVER come back here, but after I was moved I can say 100% I will defiantly be back. Whoever deals with customer service training in the annesley house hotel is doing a fantastic job! I work in the same feild so I'm hard to impress!
