Uncomfortable Inn
One essential function of a hotel is a hot shower. I stayed two nights and the hot water was broken from the moment I checked in, a fact not disclosed to me or I would have gone elsewhere. After repeatedly being told it was being fixed, told it was fixed but I needed to run the sink full bore for 10 minutes and keep it running while I showering to get it to warm up (that didn’t work), and told it was fixed that evening and I wouldn’t have an issue in the morning, I had water that barely rose above the level of ice bath. No apologies, just false statements concerning the status of the “fix.” This hotel is a run down, peeling wallpaper mess. Do not stay.

Nice stay
Nice feel of property. Nice little breakfast when lots of places are doing almost nothing. Room had some minor cosmetic things like peeling wallpaper in corner of room and in the bathroom that should be addressed but weren't huge and overall room was clean as well. I was very happy and comfy during my stay.

Missing somber desk clerk
Waited forever to check in! No one at desk, looked all over and raised voice saying Hello. Another guest arrived and i told him i had been waiting a while, he then yelled.......still no one, when she finally arrived with drink in hand no smile said "what's the name, i told her, she assumed the gentle standing over 6ft from me was my husband and addressed him as i checked in. As i started to get my luggage she then said you two are together and he said no, she then said "i thought he was your husband and i said "no, left him at home with our dogs". My check out was great 3 up at counter ask about room i addressed a couple things and they made note of it and apologized. I prefer this hotel as i stay in the area a couple times a year.
