Fantastic hotel
Fantastic hotel with lovely staff. We were in room 1112 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Hotel were really quick with replying to queries prior to booking and even had a hand written note and sweets upon arrival to celebrate Loved zaandam. Really pretty town. Train station literally a 2 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. McDonald’s and primark opposite so very good location. If you walk to the other end of town by the flamingo Cassino there are lovely outside bars and restaurants. This is the noisy end. There are also a number of supermarkets and loads of shops Would definately recommend. We found Amsterdam very busy and hectic (maybe it was the great weather) so it was nice to be out of the hussle and bussle of the city. Only criticism is that we did not have any milk provided in the room although coffee and tea was provided. We also had body wash and body lotion in the bathroom but no shampoo or conditioner provided. This is very expensive and could only find large bottles in supermarkets. Make sure u bring some with you Beware of the bike lanes. Cyclists everywhere!

Excellent in all areas
Hotel was in a great location and a short walk to the train station which only costs 6 euro return to Amsterdam. The continental breakfast was excellent with all food at the right temperatures. All staff were very friendly and helpfull. Would definetley stay here again on our next visit to amsterdam .
