This place is pretty as far as the surroundings (pool and garden) but the room not so. It is not even close to the price they ask for them. This hotel is not a value hotel. I could not recommend it.

The staff upgraded us upon arrival and the room was beautiful, down to the details in the bathroom. Lovely grounds. Fantastic view out the bedroom windows and a fantastic porch. 10 minute walk into town.

Great place to stay. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Hotel has beautiful patio. Restaurant food was delicious. Only thing that hotel is not close to center. Had to walk downhill to get to Allende center. I don’t mind but people that has trouble walking might have a problem. Other than that everything was fine.

Liked the remote location away from most of the noise and traffic in the Centro. The breakfast was delicious. Beds are hard as a rock if thats what you like. My wife and dont speak much spanish but try our best and usually have no problem communicating however this staff doent even try. Lucky for us Rueben from the wait staff was there for us and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable and make many suggestions for places to see in town. Spa experience was a definite plus! Check out staff couldnt muster a "buenas dias" and seemed put out to deal with a non-native speaker . Not a great way to leave our stay in such a beautiful city!

Booked this stay because of the Google reviews and description that indicates Free Breakfast. There was NO free breakfast, so was not happy about that extra charge. Restaurant and bar close at 4pm. We arrived at 3:15pm after many hours of travel and much hunger. By the time we made it to the restaurant they were closed. My bad for not checking the time, but a reminder would have been nice. They did prepare us two complimentary Margaritas, though there were three of us- (heavy extra charge for that third person BTW), which was nice for the long tiring trip back down the hill for dinner. Upon return, we hit the pool and noticed right away that the pool light was broken and WIRES were exposed. Again, another set back. By the time someone came to check it out and "assure" us that we were not in danger, it was nearly 8pm which is when their pool closes?! No dinner, no breakfast, no pool, and no response from the hotel which was disappointing. The grounds are beautiful and the room was SO cute, so some people are doing an amazing job and maybe others are dropping the ball. Ruben in the restaurant and the pool guy were kind and helpful. Not sure Id stay again, to be honest. They have to revamp the kitchen and bar services or something.
