The staff was so kind and friendly, the building was beautiful. My only complaint would have to be that they over booked so I didn’t get the room I was hoping for.

10/10 Exceptional

We recently stayed at Canopy to attend a Pit Bull concert at the new Acrisure Amphitheater and had an amazing time at the hotel! We dined and had drinks in the rooftop bar Kroop and walked literally a few minutes to the amphitheater. The location is amazing with several restaurants and bars all with walking distance from the hotel. Spacious and a very comfortable and clean room made our stay all the more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Such a great and clean hotel. Conveniently located down the street from the new amphitheater. Staff is always friendly and welcoming! Parking is in a garage around the block. I’m busy nights valet parking hasn’t been available but it’s an easy walk to the garage.

Reserved a king but ended up with 2 queen beds. Hotel offered complimentary breakfast the next morning however wasn't able to use it due to a conference start time. Magnifying mirror on the wall in the bathroom had become unscrewed and was falling down. Otherwise 4.5 out of 5 stars. I've stayed here before and will continue to stay here when I'm in Grand Rapids

I’ve stayed at this location a few times and it’s always a great experience. Close to local places to eat. Friendly and helpful staff. The parking, and walking to the parking structure during the colder months are the only drawback, but it hasn’t stopped me from staying here.

6/10 Good

I was disappointed with our stay at the Canopy in Grand Rapids. For the price we paid, I would have expected better. Housekeeping was an issue. When we arrived we had no handsoap in the room and I had to ask twice to get some. Also, after the first night, the maid only made up one of the two beds and didn't vacuum. The overall noise level made it difficult to sleep, even with a white noise machine running. Breakfast in the hotel was dry and unappetizing (the Canopy breakfast). As a relatively new building, the hotel was generally clean and in good repair. It is conveniently located and has plenty of available parking. However, it will not be my first choice next time I am in town.

The staff was excellent. Especially Maria who kindly cleaned our room regularly and was so sweet, Britt in concierge was also wonderful. Great property! A little too much city noise on Saturday night, but town was hopping.
