Found easy enough, good parking on site, didn't look that welcoming from outside, you definitely need a car to get around as only one pub in walking distance which done nice food but need to book. And a garage shop. Room was a nice size but dirty around the edges especially behind the bed, the shower was not very good it's for hair washing when sat in bath which is very big and takes to long to fill up. The staff which we seen were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was adequate.

If you’re after a cheap place to rest your head while exploring beautiful Pembrokeshire, it will do. But bear in mind that there’s no reception and not much staff in the hotel. The free breakfast is continental (i.e. cereal, bread to make toast with, a coffee machine). And the rooms while clean are a bit shabby, with some very questionable plastering in places. Thankfully there’s a lovely pub 5 minutes’ walk away, and some other good places to eat a short drive away. But next time I’m here, I might stay elsewhere.

Lovely stay at Lamphey Hall .Tim met us and we instantly felt welcome, he is such a good host , welcoming everyone and engaging in conversation about our trip , letting everyone know about the area and what is going on . Breakfast was lovely, well organised and plentiful. We will definitely be staying again .

This beautiful old hotel has been kept in excellent condition with tasteful modernizations. Shower was super with lovely fluffy towels! Beautiful countryside setting. Staff are friendly and helpful :) And the dinners were delicious.

It was a great stay , lovely hotel . Plenty of parking , lovely surroundings . Staff were super helpful and friendly. We stayed in on the Saturday night , watched the football & rugby in the bar while we drank & eat our evening meal washed down with a great ale. We both had the 16oz Gammon which was superb. In all I would definitely stay here again

Work Stay

The Lamphey Hall is a great place to stay situated just outside Pembroke. Upon arrival the staff are friendly and welcome and nothing is an issue. The room is well presented, comfortable with sky TV. All the amenities are available including coffee/tea and complimentary shampoo and body wash. There is plenty of off street parking. The bar is a welcoming place to sit and have a quiet drink with the bar friendly bar staff. Highly recommended.

Work Visit

When I arrived I thought the hotel was closed as the reception door was locked. I went into the bistro where I greeted with a smile and they were expecting me. The Hotel had just reopened after some refurbishment work. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed a nice glass of wine in the bar before retiring to the room. I only stayed in a single room, which was clean and comfortable. The only issues I had with the room were that I could not get the TV to work as it needed to be connected to the wifi and also the electric shower trickled rather than sprayed water, but these are the only things wrong.

The accommodation was fine and clean. The staff (when they are present on site), are very friendly. The system of getting access and getting the key after 16:00 hrs is little bit... different than what I experienced in the past (sorry, but not all travellers must be familiar with all styles of "remotely checking in"). I was a little bit disappointed about the fact that in the advert I understood that I could get a bathtub , while in fact I got just shower (sorry, as you can guess, I am a bathing person..., yes, you are very right, nobody is perfect... especially not me).

A nice hotel in a good location, just a short drive from Tenby and Pembroke Castle is just around the corner. Really easy to find. The owner was very helpful in recommending places to visit. The room was good and fairly clean - there were a couple of issues which were raised at the time. The hotel itself does advertise on its website as having a restaurant, however this is a 10 minute drive away in Lydstep. The food there was good and reasonably priced, but whilst it advertised on social media as serving food from 12-8pm, I found this not to be the case when arriving just before 7 and was told the chef wasn't serving any more food. I was disappointed with this. Overall a good hotel in a nice part of the country and easy to get to various places of interest - I will likely return in the future

Check-in required a call to a telephone number, which, for a foreigner, was a bit complicated. The room was okay, surprisingly spacious, although rather minimally decorated. The bathroom was okay but the shower very confined. The breakfast was adequate but was lacking products with protein; eggs and deli meats would be a necessary addition. Parking was good and easy.

The Lamphey Hall is okay and to be honest for the price we paid it was fine, Rooms are spacious but the maintenance is a little bit to be desired, evidence of leak damage in a couple of areas, plug missing from sink and wrong plug for bath. Cleanliness was average ie linen clean but under the bed hadn't seen a hoover for a long time. Quite a heavy damp smell when you enter the front door. No hospitality trays in the rooms, but really should have a kettle and at least some mugs or glasses so you can at least make or have a drink in your own room. Breakfast was ok, again for the price we paid it was okay, problems with the coffee machine only seemed to highlight the need for kettles in the rooms. Staff very helpful and polite. Overall it was Okay.

We booked last minute to take advantage of the beautiful weather . The hotel was easy to locate , plenty of Car Parking space and we were greeted by a very friendly host .
