It was just to noisy! Nice place to say . . . great view, but too close to the road!

my husband and i stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with our large dog. they were very accommodating, and the room was basic, but very clean. great balcony, with ocean view, great in-house restaurant and beautiful small pool and patio. cute breezeway to rooms, and overall a quieter location as far as mazatlan goes. i would definitely stay here again, perfect for the price!

La Siesta is a budget hotel with an excellent location. Some minor problems (no hot water or cable tv) were experienced for short periods of time, but eventually corrected. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the restaurant/bar has a good choice of resonably priced items. We would recommend staying there.

Wonderful beachfront location. Big rooms and comfortable beds. It's also in the Centro Historico (Old Town), a much more interesting location than the resort type hotels further north up the beach. The beach in front of the hotel is fine for swimming, so you just have to cross the road for a dip. The onsite restaurant (The Shrimp Bucket) is great, especially for the shrimp specialty dishes.

We stayed for 2 weeks and loved it!! The street noise everyone posts about is crazy loud but luckily we sleep threw anything so it didn’t bother us. Martin at the front desk was amazing. He went above and beyond. Always had great suggestions and helped us with the best ways to see or do things.
