It was a pretty sketchy area! My wife was actually upset with me when we got there and said, “Great! What a lovely place for you to bring the kids to” literally as some homeless people were fighting across the street and there were hookers walking around. The hotel is safe and secure with various door code areas to give you access to parts of the hotel that you need. RD at the front desk was really nice and helpful to us. I like how the hotel is on the E rapid transit bus line. You can get to downtown Seattle relatively quickly and this bus and it will also take you near the King Street train station. Keep in mind this is a budget hotel.

I picked this location because it was the inexpensive compared to anything in downtown Seattle. I just needed a place to lay my head after a concert at El Corazon, not wanting to drive back to British Columbia the same night. The room was spacious - couch and television, plus fridge, etc. I could tell they were behind in their deep cleaning of the bathrooms, or, had given up trying to remove the DEEP stains and grime. Either way, didn't bother me but may bother others. I still give it 5 out of 5 thumbs up, based on price. The parking lot was safe -- it is gated. I didn't know why it needed to be gated until the next morning when I drove down a wrong street and found this was a rough area. But, again, I had no idea about that from staying at this place. It's hard to find anywhere worth staying for this price point anymore. Would recommend for almost any situation.
