The hotel is a bit older and showed some signs of wear and tear over the years. But of course it is a Japanese hotel and everything is clean and works. The Japanese level of service is also given. Location is great, situated along one of the waterways and close in to many shops and restaurants. Walkable just a block or two to the covered pedestrian arcade. We also caught unexpectedly a procession of small boats on the canal, presenting kabuki stars in traditional costume accompanied by traditional Japanese instruments.
