Dope.
I give this trip at Copal a 10/10. It was a surprise birthday stay and the staff was key! For an extra fee, they decorated the room with balloons to make it all feel extra special. Everything was great. I went with the room with the private pool and recommend that to everyone. We purchased our own champagne and tequila before getting to the hotel and so making and enjoying our drinks alongside the private pool was cool but saved us some money too. Copal restaurant was delicious. Breakfast, lunch and Kokoro for dinner. Kokoro is a Japanese restaurant, we dined there once and it was delicious. Worth trying their tempura ice cream. Room was good, clean & comfortable. Service was great. Directly across from the check in/out desk, there’s someone who rents scooters/ATVs. You’re 10-15 mins away from the hotel strip where places like Taboo, Gitano, etc are and also 10 mins away from Tulum Avenue if you want more of the local feel. But Copal makes you feel like you’re away from it all at the same time. Lastly, the couple’s ritual massage. 100! A must if nothing else. Thank You Copal for making her birthday stay worth every bit of it!
